Privacy policy

FixIt Quick is operated from the United Arab Emirates. This page describes what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We aim for plain English over legalese.

What we collect

  • Diagnostic answers — the device, hotspot, issue and question responses you provide during a diagnosis. Identified to a session only, not to a person.
  • Contact details when you submit a contact form or partner application: name, email, phone number, business details where applicable.
  • Usage data — basic analytics like page views and event interactions, used to improve the product.

What we don't collect

  • We don't access your device's contents.
  • We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
  • We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

  • To run the diagnosis and show you a result.
  • To respond to contact form submissions.
  • To match partner applications with our internal review process.
  • In aggregate, to understand which devices and issues are most common so we can improve the data set.

Data sharing

When you request a quote from a repairer, we share only the details required to fulfil the request: your contact information, device, and issue. The repairer is independently responsible for their handling of that data once received.

We use Vercel for hosting and Supabase for the database. Both are reputable providers with their own data protection commitments.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@fixitquick.com. We comply with applicable UK Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.

Updates to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change. Significant changes will be communicated via the site.
